Procurement Manager – F&B Consultants

Role description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Procurement Manager to be based in Cape Town supporting our operations in  Mozambique.

Industry / sector:

(boreholes both government and private, irrigation systems (Small scale)

Hydro dam, Cement factory, develop state houses. Prime agriculture & food processing.

Key responsibilities:

·         Creating clear distribution channels and sourcing materials

·         Identifying company needs, handling purchase orders, deliveries (payments)

·         Policy compliance

·         Coordinating procurement activities

Requirements:

·         Grade 12, tertiary education advantageous

·         Ms Office (Word, Excel, Email ) intermediate

·         Ability to read and understand Tender documents including government tenders

·         3-4 years experience in the logistics and procurement field

·         Experience in Contract Management and Tender Processes

·         Ability to develop and maintain relationships

·         Import and Export – knowledge of ports in Mozambique

·         Knowledge of the clearance process (clearance in SA then distribution to Mozambique), goods to come from both locally and China and Brazil

·         Understanding of the import and export process
