Mission Statement

The primary aims of this professional, national organization are:

• To improve and maintain the standing of the Landscape Irrigation Association through strength of representation.
• To foster a national awareness amongst professional bodies, developers, public authorities and the general public of the existence and aims of the Association.
• To encourage national standards of design, quality and workmanship.
• To raise the efficiency of the industry.
• To establish facilities for the exchange of information with suppliers of irrigation and ancillary equipment.
• To provide members with regular technical information.
• To encourage the training of irrigation personnel.
• To foster and encourage regular meetings of members.
• To liaise with international bodies with similar interests.
